siren musings

I’d just decided that yes, yes I would put on the bathing suit and take a shower when the damn siren went. When the siren goes, it is like Yom HaShoah or Yom HaZikaron (Holocaust and Memorial days): Cars pull to a halt on the street and the occupants jump out. But instead of standing silently in memory, they crouch down beside the car looking up and praying the rocket ain’t coming directly for them.

Two rockets were shot at the Tel Aviv area but the Iron Dome intercepted. Thank you oh wise ones who put the Iron Dome here this morning!

The bathing suit was a good idea! Take Nicole’s advice about seeking shelter.

Ema our staircase is no good because it has so many windows going all up it making the danger of flying glass etc a real issue. Our storage room is the “safest” spot (because of no windows) but it isn’t actually safe. We’ve pretty much decided to stay in our abodes as they are as safe as anywhere. Yeah, the thought of a rocket hitting while nekked was very unpleasant so I’m going to go for the bathing suit and eventually venture into the shower.

Here’s something you and Lynne may enjoy to have little laugh. Stay safe!
