miracle of 3 women rescued and questions about others
It is such an amazing miracle that Amanda Berry, Michelle Knight, and Gina Dejesus have been found alive after a decade of total hell for them. They were all kidnapped, at different times, off the same street in Cleveland, Ohio. This raises the question of whether their kidnapper/s also abducted 14 year old Ashley Summers in 2007 –she was kidnapped, as was Gina DeJesus, while walking home from school on that same street. Is she being held in another location by these perps? Could she also still be alive? There is another girl, as well. News sources in Cleveland have reported that when Michelle Knight, the first of the freed girls to have been kidnapped, was first taken to the home there was another girl already held captive there. She woke up one morning and the girl was gone. Things don’t look too good on that score as, according to one police source, the girl’s name was written on the wall of the basement with “rest in peace” after it.
I’d like to know why police don’t issue Amber alerts for all missing kids and also for missing adults. No Amber alert was issued for Gina or for Amanda — police assumed they were runaways. Because Michelle was technically an adult, the police didn’t even look for her when she went missing. I don’t care if 99.9% of adults who go missing do so of their own volition –that still leaves hundreds that do not. If an adult wishes to be incognito, fine, but tips can come in to at least let the family know the missing person is alive, safe, and doesn’t want to be found and give them some peace. For those who are not missing of their own volition, it can save lives.
