It looks like Michael Hastings was murdered
Even if the man had not been killed just a couple of hours after both writing to the wikileaks lawyer for help and sending a missive to a large number of family, friends and colleagues telling them that the FBI was investigating him and that he was going off the radar to work on a NSA-related story, there would be suspicions about that car crash. An eyewitness to the accident said BEFORE the car crashed, there were two loud explosions from the car. The car made a 60 degree turn, at speed, into a tree and yet there are no skid marks, meaning no brakes were applied. The fire was much hotter and much more intense than you find in car crashes, especially for the type of car. The engine and drive train were 200 feet from the car — behind the car — crash experts say that in crashes like this, if the engine did fly out of the car as a result of a crash it would fly out in a continuing trajectory along the lines in which the car was traveling (that is, it would land in front of the car).
