Crack Israeli team rescuing hostages from Kenyan mall

Within a couple of hours of news that the mall in Kenya was under attack, Israel had a crack special forces team in the air to aid the Kenyan police forces in trying to rescue hostages from the besieged mall.

Yesterday, Kenyan officials said the Israeli soldiers had arrived and “The Israelis have just entered and they are rescuing the hostages and the injured,” a Kenyan security source told Agence France-Presse.

Think about the difference with how the Americans reacted with the attack on their embassy in Benghazi…they had special forces on the ground and within a four-hour plane ride ready to go but all were told to stand down as their Ambassador and others were killed in a two-part 9 hour attack. The only help came from those who disobeyed orders and went to the aid of those trapped at the embassy…some of whom lost their lives for their bravery. The U.S. doesn’t even send in their forces to rescue their own, while Israel sends help from half a world away to help others.

Good post. That was my thought exactly as I read about the attack in Kenya. I was sickened listening to the double talk, lies, and evasions from US State Department officials involved in the decisions before, after and during the Benghazi attack. I still have a mental picture of that witch Hilary Clinton in that ugly green outfit asking “what difference does it make?” when being questioned about what happened and what was done on the part of the US to help those under attack. Ugh. I remember when I admired her as First Lady….no more! A typical Obama cover-up and more lies from the most “transparent” administration ever. More information is coming out on Benghazi, including the fact that all who were at Benghazi or involved having had to sign documents swearing that they won’t talk, and having to take lie detector tests every month or two to make sure that they haven’t and don’t plan to.
I was astonished at the speed at which the Israeli elite team arrived to help their counterparts in Kenya, and encouraged that Kenya accepted the help from them.

Israel always helps as I’m sure most people reading this know. Israel is treating hundreds of wounded Syrians for free and just sent an aid team to Colorado to help flood victims. And these are just a few examples.

Mike, yes, I agree. It would not hurt the international mainstream media to mention that, would it? In the media, I seldom see more than a brief and very casual mention of this assistance to others.

Well, according to an Israeli official, we didn’t sent armed forces, only some military experts in terrorism to advice the local police force, nothing more. According to the same official, “the israeli fighters aren’t for rent”.

Yes, officially so. We officially did not take out the Syrian nuclear facility or transports of chemical weapons from Syria to Hezbollah and a variety of other things targeting terrorist activity.

    • Lynne says :

The accounts I read reported that Israel sent a highly trained team of those trained in dealing with hostage situations/terrorism.
