20th rocket of the week fired by Gaza terrorists at Israeli civilians

The rocket, 20th in number since last Thursday, is part of a wider escalation in the security situation in both the Gaza and West Bank, as Israeli forces continue to search for the three kidnapped Israeli teens Eyal Yifrach, Gil-Ad Shaer and Naftali Frenkel. As of now two Palestinians have been killed and hundreds arrested as the IDF crackdown on Hamas in the West Bank.

They’ve found weapons caches, and a number of “charities” that were fronts for money laundering operations and shut them down.

I was completely shocked that the Presbyterians voted to divest from any Israeli owned business “because of the way that the Israelis treat the Palestinians”. Are these people CRAZY, or just anti-Semitic?

  2. Tiger Mike says :

The Presbyterian Church USA has a long history of anti-semetism. Presbyterian theology is institutionally anti-Semitic.

Yael, I hope you are having a better day today.

Tiger Mike, thanks, I am feeling better. Maybe I have a new form of Agoraphobia — fear of leaving one’s country, heh– I’ve spent only 6 days, counting airport layovers, in the U.S. and 24 days in European countries (paid for not by me conferences) in the past 10 years. I really don’t like leaving home 🙂

Larry — yes, emigration last year from France more than doubled and this year it is set to way more than double again. It isn’t just France, though. We are seeing a huge upsurge in aliyah from all the European countries. Anti-Semitism is exploding around the world and, albeit with different characters, the geo-politics are more and more resembling the 1930s. What is different is that this time we have our own damn country and have a say in who can and who cannot enter.
