Soldier NOT kidnapped

Update: 11:43 The IDF has categorically denied claims by Hamas that they kidnapped one of our soldiers.

Nothing official has been said yet but it is all over the pro-Gaza twitter feeds that an Israeli soldier has been kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza — they are listing his name and military number. I really hope this is not the case because there is going to be no support for another Shalit-like trade. That trade was incredibly divisive and the fact that so many of the terrorists who were released in that trade were involved in subsequent terror attacks and murders of Israelis — not gonna happen again. It may well be that he was one of the 13 killed today and they’ve got his tags. The list of names has not been released but I got an SMS and I know one of the families. This is so hard. The concept of losses before they happen is hard to imagine but easier, it gets harder still when they happen and especially if you have a connection. But the fact remains that this is necessary. Hamas pushed this and have proved that they are nothing more than murderous, callous, criminals who are intent not only on killing as many of our civilians as they can but of their own. We’ve lost civilians, we’ve lost soldiers and will undoubtedly lose more, and if a soldier is kidnapped…we’ve lost him or her as well. It will not stop our resolve to protect the rest of our citizens and to stop Hamas’ ability to terrorize our citizens.

    It is strongly recommended to refrain from propagating rumors.

    But it is OK to discuss what to do if a soldier is kidnapped. My suggestion is to kill (execute) some terrorists who were released in exchange for Gilad Shalit, and promise to kill more terrorists until the soldier is released.

    • israeliminx says :

      Yep, we need the death penalty for terrorists. Said it before and saying it again. Your suggestion would lead them probably to kill the soldier because they don’t care how many of their own die (or they wouldn’t have started this shit to begin with) but it would definitely send a message that that tactic is not going to work anymore.

      BTW just to be clear, I sat on it and didn’t post anything until the claims had already been printed in Yedidot Aharanot, several U.S. media sources, and there were mass celebrations happening not only in Gaza, Ramallah, but also Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.

  2. Roba says :

    I can’t even read the whole article! ARE YOU HUMAN? Regadless the religion, believes and whatever you want!! ARE YOU SERIOUS !!! Over 100 civilians died today, DIED NOT ONLY KIDNAPPED!! Most of them are kids and women!
    And your saying that we are terrorist?? Omg! Wallah I can’t even imagin that you really believe in what you are saying🙂 .. However, all humans all over the world will pray that what happened to this solider is true ..

    • tddpirate says :

      Roba, I wonder how long will it take you to get Godwin’s Law to kick in.

    • Lynne says :

      Roba, is English your first language? I cannot understand what you are trying to say.
      I don’t believe that any of us who comment here want ANYONE hurt, killed or kidnapped really. However, it is war, and when there are those who are trying their hardest to kill you and your countrymen, taking out the enemy seems like a very good idea.
      Killing innocent women, men and children, is never a good idea, and what Hamas is doing and has done is to target civilians in Israel, and to force or coerce people in Gaza to remain in harm’s way, to ignore the IDF warnings and not to seek shelter or safety. There is an important moral difference here: Hamas does not protect its citizens, and Israel tries to do so, and Hamas attacks innocent people (even babies) and Israel tries to avoid harm to them.
      Hamas has been the aggressor here, and as usual, considers killing innocent people “heroic”.
      I do not need to defend that statement; the buildings, streets and squares named after terrorists, the financial rewards to them, and the praise from Hamas speaks for itself. You won’t see that happen in Israel. Never.

      • Roba says :

        I’m Palestinian Canadian.. No problem people always understand what they want to understand!! ..Israel killed over 100 civilians today because they said that Hamas hides behind civilians? What an excuse ..
        Israel is not entering Gaza just to kill Hamas .. And after all your saying that we are terrorist just because we kidnapped one soldier .. *hopefully u understand now

        • israeliminx says :

          I’m Israeli and I have friends who are living in Gaza now, today. If we (Israel) wanted to just kill Palestinians believe me, we could turn Gaza into a parking lot faster than you could blink.

          We do not want to do that nor do we want to kill Palestinian civilians. But trust me, and if you don’t want to trust me, how about trusting what Hamas says itself: Hamas uses civilians as human shields and not only fires on Israel from within dense civilian living areas but stores its weapons in houses, apartments, schools, mosques and hospitals.

          • Roba says :

            What about Mohammed khudair?? And the kids who were playing near the beach?? Does Hamas used them??

          • Roba says :

            I (as a human) don’t want to see any innocent killed!
            But please stop saying that we are terrorist and creat excuses to kill civilians …

        • Lynne says :

          Roba, I did not mean to insult you. I simply was not able to follow what you were saying. Here is what I think after reading an article by an Israeli today in YNET. Not all Israelis think the exact same way; they hold a variety of opinions. This writer had the opinion that going into Gaza was a mistake for the Israelis (deaths of soldiers and danger to others) and with 100 dead in Gaza today, it’s bad for them as well. I cannot rejoice in the deaths of hundreds of people in Gaza. And unlike the Palestinians in Gaza, I do not celebrate the deaths of those killed.
          I just don’t understand why there is not a willingness to make peace with Israel. There can be no peace if one side’s only goal is to kill all Jews, to destroy Israel. Who in their right mind could agree to that? That is Hamas’s stated goal. Hamas targets civilians, cuts the throats of babies; how can you possibly defend that?
          You are a Palestinian Canadian; what can you do to ask for compromise and to work for peace?

  3. israeliminx says :

    Roba, the loss of civilians is regrettable whether they are Gazans or Israelis. The civilians in Shejaia had ample warning to evacuate and it is a tragedy that they did not and a tragedy that some who remained were injured and killed but it was avoidable if they had a) heeded the warning and b) not allowed terrorists to fire rockets from their neighbourhood, hide rockets in their apartments, and so forth.

    • Roba says :

      Where they want them to go exactly?

      • israeliminx says :

        They gave instructions on the safe areas to evacuate to, as well as evacuation centers being set up by unrwa with Israel’s advance warnings.

      • Lynne says :

        Roba, they can go in most cases just a few blocks away or a few miles away and be safe. There is ample time to do that, and contrast that, please, with the fact that Israelis are targeted by Hamas rockets and given no warning and between 10 seconds and less than a minute to seek shelter when Hamas shoots rockets into Israel.
        Hamas is not aiming at military targets, but at civilians.

    • israeliminx says :

      The terrorists who killed Mohammed Khader have been arrested and will never ever for a single day see freedom in the rest of their lives. We are talking here of instating the death penalty because of these killers.

      I do not, never have, and never will say that all Palestinians are terrorists. I have, do, and will firmly state that Hamas is terrorist.

  4. WipeOutHamasOnceAndForAll says :

    I wonder about the usefulness of the Israeli troops in Gaza considering the lack of long-term goal of this Israeli government for an endgame solution to these many attacks of rockets that have occurred for decades so far. Of course, it is good to destroy the tunnels and kill as many Hamas terrorists as possible but what is the LONG-TERM plan, endgame by Israel? That is really the key question the Israeli government needs to ask itself!!

    After all, we have been there (in Gaza destroying tunnels and killing Hamas terrorists), done that, and but unfortunately we have been back to square zero after that many times over the past decades!!

    Now we see that a significant number of Israeli soldiers have been killed (more than ten so far and counting). Why sacrifice this big number of Israeli soldiers to get back to square zero in the coming months when the Israeli government pulls back from Gaza and Hamas rebuilt with better, more deadly rockets and a new group of young Hamas ready to die arises again, not to mention the rebuilding of tunnels later on?

    Therefore, here is the question that the government and each of us interested in Israel should ask: what would provide Israel with a complete end of the rocket attacks from Gaza LONG-TERM, but not only long-term, FOREVER?
    And the only answer to this question is the following.

    1) Full expulsion of ALL the inhabitants of Gaza FOREVER! To neighboring Arab countries except Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
    After all, Gaza is, according to the UN, an Israeli territory where no Israeli currently lives. It is about time to change that.
    I remind you that Jews were expulsed from most Arab countries at the creation of the State of Israel and no one complained about it!! Therefore, to expulse terrorists (those that would be still alive, most should be killed) along with the highly complicit population that is in Gaza only to protect Hamas and company, it would certainly not be a big deal.

    2) Killing of all the Hamas terrorists and yes, especially all the Hamas masterminds that is all the Hamas politicians. Yes, terrorists are killed, not spared!

    Only these points 1 and 2 would give Israel a LONG-TERM AND FOREVER SOLUTION to the many cycles of rocket attacks from Gaza by Hamas and company that has been done for decades!!
    There is no other solution that would provide a LONG-TERM AND FOREVER SOLUTION to the many rocket attacks from Gaza by Hamas. That is the reality, the truth as unsavory that it might be for many among us.

    The problem with this only long-term, forever solution with points 1 and 2 is that not a single politician has the courage to implement it!!

    Therefore, Israel will sacrifice in vain, without real long-term benefits the lives of many soldiers only to get back to square zero in a few months’ time, as it happened so many times these past decades!!!

    • Lynne says :

      Wipe Out, I wish that Egypt would not have refused to take Gaza back after the war (1967?), and I wish that they would take it back NOW.

      • israeliminx says :

        About the last thing that Egypt wants is Gaza with it’s huge Muslim Brotherhood child Hamas. Hamas should actually carefully watch itself because a few more Hamas-related terror attacks in the Sinai and Egypt may clobber Gaza. They will not worry about the civilians.

  5. Lynne says :

    What about putting a moat along the border? A wide, wide moat. Huge with sea water in it….

  6. SirJohn says :

    Add a few crocodiles, Lynne🙂 No, you cannot do that to Egypt, you don’t wish your worst enemy that they have to deal with these monsters in Gaza. The same goes for the rest of them on the West Bank and Jordan, as this also sometimes comes up. The Jordanians also don’t deserve that. People who so clearly have positioned themselves outside of any human society by the atrocities they have committed over the decades should not be surprised that nobody in the world wants to live with them. And the more this goes on, the more people will begin to like the parking lot solution.

    • Lynne says :

      I agree! Hamas and Hamas supporters are despised by many other Arab countries. They are known as troublemakers and dangerous. I remember how much hope that most of the Israelis had been they willingly left Gaza, left businesses there for the people of Gaza and promised business advice, support and financial help…but the people of Gaza destroyed the businesses! How crazy is that???? My grandmother used to say that “only a cuckoo bird sh*ts in its own nest”…ah, that would be Hamas and Hamas supporters.
      Sir John, couldn’t the border be monitored by a bunch of drones? Just asking…. I’m not in the least technical.

      • SirJohn says :

        Drones already are used in many places to monitor a border and will even more be used in the future. They also might be used to defend a border, when you utilize armed drones. We will definitely see more of them in the future. The technology is there and will be improving.

  7. Mike says :

    Well, we’ve all seen this movie before. It’s Jenin all over agin. Terrorist hide among civilians. Israeli troops risk their lives fighting on the ground to minimize civilian casualties, and Israel is falsely accused of a massacre.

  8. dumbledoresarmy says :

    Dear Yael

    something that might help cheer you up.

    I don’t know whether you’ve ever heard of a Native Canadian guy called Ryan Bellerose. But he rocks, he simply rocks. He’s been to Israel (he loved Masada and the Dead Sea), he has a friend who’s served in the IDF, and he’s totally pro-Israel. Here are two recent articles from his blog.

    I *love* this one – “Don’t Poke Bears”. (Ryan’s advice to Gazan jihadis).

    http://ryanmbellerose.blogspot.com.au/2014/07/dont-poke-bears.html

    And he went along with his IDF shirt and his Israeli flag and upset some applecarts – very nicely and politely, he knows all his facts and he won’t stand for any of the usual BS, and nobody but nobody dares try messing with a bloke who’s as big as a bear or a moose – at an anti-Israel hatefest in Calgary, Canada.

  9. Mike says :

    You know, reading the comments about who should control Gaza I realized something. Egypt doesn’t want the place. Most Israelis want nothing to do with the place. This is an incredible achievement for Hamas. In just a few years they have made Gaza a place that’s so miserable nobody wants it.

    I know I often make funny or snide comments here, but in this case I’m serious. This is sad. Gaza could be so much if the Palestinians had different leadership. Instead it’s a place nobody wants.

    • Lynne says :

      You could not give Gaza away. There have been people in the West Bank that have protested Gaza being connected to them by any means. Egypt certainly does not want it, didn’t want it years ago and does not want it now. It has been absolutely ruined by Hamas and other extremists for the good people who live there.

  10. Karen says :

    after reading all of your comments and the post itself, i have some few responds:

    first of all, congrats for the all Palestinians for the victory of arresting the solider!
    second of all which is dedicated to LYNN only, after reading your comments in this post, I only say that your concept of ” living together in peace in Palestine” which you mentioned previously, is another lie that you Israelis are good at. and i just want to point it again that absolutely not an option!

    third of all, wipe out, one question directed to you, are you human? is this what your religion and Israeli schools teach you to do so!! stop acting you guys! you love killing and you love taking lands which are not yours.
    i actually was hoping to see a more democratic way of thinking among you all to discuss the issue that we all are involved in and to figure out a solution that satisfy all sides. but i was wrong, sadly!

    finally, one major thing to point out to, Palestine is not your land and never will be your own. i suggest you try to find another land to occupy. Think about Egypt since you’re getting along with them very well lately.

    kind regards

    • WipeOutHamasOnceAndForAll says :

      Karen, thanks for your points of view that are always welcome to me even when they are so naive as to be catalog as being stupid, to say the least. Why that? Because it allows me to clarify a few points for you.

      You say: “you love killing and you love taking lands which are not yours.”
      I recently stumbled upon the same comment on the Internet and here is the answer that I gave that I adapt for yourself:
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      Karen’s dishonest claim that the Israelis would have stolen the land of another people (the bogus Palestinians who are just Arab Muslim occupiers) is refuted very clearly in “FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL: THE ORIGINS OF THE ARAB-JEWISH CONFLICT OVER PALESTINE” BY JOAN PETERS.
      Here are a few true facts that are IRREFUTABLE from this book:
      1. Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., almost two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
      2. Since 1272 B.C.E. the Jews have had a dominion over the land for at least 1,000 years as well as a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
      3. The only Arab dominion since the conquest in 635 C.E. lasted no more than 22 years.
      4. King David made the city of Jerusalem his capital, Mohammed had never been to Jerusalem.
      5. For 3000 years, Jerusalem has been known to be the Jewish capital. Jerusalem has never been the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. When the Jordanians occupied Jerusalem, they never sought to make it their capital and Arab leaders did not specifically come to visit there.
      6. Jerusalem is mentioned over 700 times in the Tanach (Jewish Holy Scriptures) . Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Koran.
      7. Jews pray facing Jerusalem wherever in the world they may be. Muslims pray facing Mecca (often with their backs toward Jerusalem).
      8. IN 1854, ACCORDING TO A REPORT IN THE NEW YORK TRIBUNE, JEWS CONSTITUTED TWO-THIRDS OF THE POPULATION OF THE HOLY CITY. (THE SOURCE: A JOURNALIST ON ASSIGNMENT TO THE MIDDLE EAST THAT YEAR FOR THE TRIBUNE. HIS NAME WAS KARL MARX. YES, THAT KARL MARX.)
      9. IN 1867, MARK TWAIN TOOK A TOUR OF PALESTINE AND DESCRIBED THAT LAND: “A DESOLATE COUNTRY WHOSE SOIL IS RICH ENOUGH BUT IS GIVEN OVER WHOLLY TO WEEDS. IT IS A SILENT AND MOURNFUL EXPANSE. WE NEVER SAW A HUMAN.”
      10. IN 1882 CENSUS FIGURES OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE, IT WAS RECORDED THAT IN THE ENTIRE LAND OF ISRAEL, THERE WERE ONLY 141,000 MUSLIMS, BOTH ARAB AND NON-ARAB.
      11. A TRAVEL GUIDE TO PALESTINE AND SYRIA, PUBLISHED IN 1906 BY KARL BAEDEKER, ESTIMATED THAT THE TOTAL POPULATION OF JERUSALEM WAS 60,000, OF WHOM 7,000 WERE MUSLIMS, 13,000 WERE CHRISTIANS AND 40,000 WERE JEWS.
      12. AFTER ZIONIST JEWS CAME, DRAINED THE SWAMPS, AND MADE THE DESERTS BLOSSOM ARABS FOLLOWED THEM. THEY CAME FOR JOBS, FOR PROSPERITY AND FOR FREEDOM. ARABS ARRIVED IN LARGE NUMBERS.
      13. IN 1922, DURING THE ILLEGAL SEPARATION OF TRANSJORDAN, JEWS WERE FORBIDDEN TO SETTLE ON 77% OF THE DISPUTED TERRITORY, WHILE ARAB SETTLEMENTS WENT UNRESTRICTED BY BRITISH.
      14. Prior to the Second World War, Mojli Amin, a member of the Arab Defense Committee for Palestine, proposed the following idea “All the Arabs of Palestine will leave and be settled amongst the neighboring Arab countries. In exchange for this, all the Jews living in Arab countries will leave and come and live in Palestine.”
      15. Did you know that Saudi Arabia was not established until 1913? Lebanon was not established until 1920. Iraq did not exist as a nation until 1932 and Syria until 1941. The borders of Jordan were established in 1946 and those of Kuwait in 1961. Any of the aforementioned nations that say that Israel is only a recent arrival would have to deny their own right of existence. They did not exist as fully-fledged countries, but were all under the control of the Turks. OVER 80% OF THE ORIGINAL BRITISH MANDATE LAND WAS GIVEN TO THE ARABS WITHOUT ANY FORM OF POPULATION TRANSFER.
      16. In 1947, the Jewish state settled on 18% of the original British Mandate land. This was accepted gratefully. The Arabs rejected it with a vengeance and seven Arab states immediately declared war against Israel.
      17. IN 1948, THE ARABS WERE ENCOURAGED TO LEAVE ISRAEL BY ARAB LEADERS PROMISING TO PURGE THE LAND OF JEWS. MOST OF THEM LEFT IN FEAR OF BEING KILLED BY THEIR OWN ARAB BROTHERS AS TRAITORS.
      18. JEWISH CITIZENS OF ARAB COUNTRIES HAD BEEN FORCED TO FLEE FROM ARAB BRUTALITY, PERSECUTION AND POGROMS.
      19. The number of Arabs who left Israel in 1948 was 470,000 (this figure was later inflated after UN offered them free help). The number of Jewish refugees from Arab lands is estimated to be the same.
      20. FROM 1948 TO 1967 ARABS MADE NO ATTEMPT TO CREATE A PALESTINIAN STATE. Under Jordanian rule, Jewish holy sites were desecrated. Jews and Christians were denied access to places of worship. Under Israeli rule, all Muslim and Christian sites have been preserved and made accessible to people of all faiths.
      21. Arabs began identifying themselves as part of a Palestinian people only in 1967, after Israel captured Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
      22. Out of the 100,000,000 refugees since World War II, Arab- Palestinians are the only refugee group in the world that have never been absorbed or integrated into their own peoples’ lands. Jewish refugees from all over were completely absorbed into the land of Israel.
      23. Arab refugees INTENTIONALLY were not absorbed or integrated by the rich Arab oil states that control 99.9 percent of the Middle East landmass. They are kept as virtual prisoners by the Arab power brokers with misplaced hatred for Jews and Western democracy.
      24. There is only one Jewish state. There are 54 Muslim countries including 22 Arab nations.
      25. The PLO’s Charter still calls for the destruction of the State of Israel.
      26. Pan-Arabism or the idea of an Arab Caliphate declares that all land that supposedly to belonged to Arabs, must be returned to Arabs.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      And I added also the following comments:
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      If there is one people who took the land from another people, it is the imported (from Saudi Arabia) Arab Muslims who invaded the countries of the Middle East, in particular the Land of Israel, and then today falsely claim that it was historically their own land when it has never been the case!!!
      The Land of Israel is historically the land of the Jewish people. Most of it is currently occupied by these Arab Muslim invaders from Saudi Arabia (their descendants) who settled there with the only goal of preventing the Jewish people from settling back into their ancestral Land of Israel.
      Both Jordan and Syria are bogus states created by past colonial countries such as Great Britain, France, and others. At the end of the Ottoman Empire (the Turks), the entire Land of Israel had only around 100,000 inhabitants in all when the first Jews started to move back to their ancestral Land of Israel. The Palestine of the British Mandate was given back officially to their rightful owners, the Jewish people, to allow them to create again their ancestral Land of Israel.
      The British illegally created a bogus Jordan state with a bogus Arab Muslim king (who is a descendant from an Arab Muslim from the Mecca in Saudi Arabia) only to prevent the Jewish people from settling on the Jordan part that was planned to be fully part of the State of Israel. It is currently occupied land.
      THE KINGDOM OF DAVID EXISTED MORE THAN 3,000 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS, FOR MOST OF IT, APPROXIMATELY THE LAND OF ISRAEL AND IT WAS ALSO THE HOME OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE AT THAT TIME WHO WERE CALLED HEBREWS AT THAT TIME.
      Yes, currently, there are occupiers of the Land of Israel who do not belong to it: in truth they are the Arab Muslim from Saudi Arabia occupiers who, approximately one century ago (at the end of the Ottoman Empire that is the Turks), invaded the Middle East countries.
      The same invasion by these Arab Muslims from Saudi Arabia occurred a few centuries ago for all the North African countries and many women, children, and men were murdered for those who did not want to convert to the evil and false Muslim faith at that time.
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      You say:
      “third of all, wipe out, one question directed to you, are you human? is this what your religion and Israeli schools teach you to do so!!”
      One vital trait of any human being is self-preservation. If someone wants to kill me, in self-defense and even through prevention, I would rather kill the person who wants to kill me before waiting for him to kill me at the first occasion. That is a good analogy with Hamas. Hamas wants to kill Israelis and therefore to kill them before they commit other murders is what it is to be a human being who values his own life. The Old Testament is full of examples where the Hebrews of the past have had to act in prevention to protect their own life. The same applies to Hamas, a bunch of murderers that are the vilest mankind has ever met.
      Karen, you seem to live like Lynne does sometimes, in a bubble. Unfortunately for you and Lynne, the Middle East is very ugly and also very real. Israelis are targeted by Hamas to murder them and therefore it is a Jewish prerogative to prevent these murders from happening by killing evil where evil is, in this case where Hamas terrorists are!!

      —I remind you that I do not ask Israelis to kill the population of Gaza, just expulse them because the simple reason why they are in Gaza is to shield Hamas from being killed by Israelis when they launch rockets into Israel.
      —I remind you that Gaza is officially, according to the UN, an Israeli territory!!! Believe it or not!!
      —Karen, you are entitled to your own points of view but you are NOT entitled to be stupid and tell us that Israelis should also be stupid and they should welcome the rockets and the attacks that they have to bear every day by Hamas terrorists!!!
      —You want to speak religion. King David Himself had to kill those who tried to kill him several times. Several stories of the Old Testament narrate similar stories of self-defense and of killing by prevention in order to avoid being killed in the first place!

      Karen, educate yourself before opening your mouth to utter complete nonsense. In particular, read Joan Peters’ book. Many have tried to denigrate this book but the true facts that I have stated above remain true and irrefutable.

    • israeliminx says :

      Well, talk about making assumptions. First of all, Lynne is not Israeli. Wipe is not Israeli (UK?). Nor are many, if not most, of the people who post comments on my blog. A significant proportion are not Jews. Some are Arabs. If it were an Israeli-centered reader and commenting blog I’d be writing it in Hebrew.

      Second, I’m not going to make an assumption but a conclusion. I see by your last comment in your post above that you live in an alternate reality that does nothing to support the Palestinian cause but rather harms it.

  11. Karen says :

    now ignoring all the unacceptable words (naive, stupid, several times!), I can reply back to all the issues that you have been pointing out in your comment, however i wont! it is clear that you are not willing to accept my point of view even if it is harsh, even if i provided you with all the sources and facts that you want to know or at least support my words. in all cases will be not end this discussion.

    I might not be educated as you want me to be ( which is to me its enough to know your history from the Islamic point of view ( btw I suggest you to read Holy Qura’an to know further about your history from other holy books), and also to know that simply Israel occupied the Palestinian lands since the 60’s- which everyone knows this fact.

    when i first came across this blog, i was hoping to democratically discuss issues! it seems that i was wrong! and both of us is convinced with its own ideas and ways of thinking! so, good luck in what you’re doing! and eventually- if you believe in the after life- we shall meet to see who’s right or wrong! (Palestinians vs Israelis).
    finally, it is not about who’s educated or who’s voices’ louder.

    kind regards

    • WipeOutHamasOnceAndForAll says :

      Karen (why don’t you use a more appropriate name for who you truly are, a Muslim woman?!!), you now want me to read the Evil Koran?!! Koran IS the most hateful book that has ever invented by the most evil man on earth, Muhammad, your bogus “prophet” of Islam!!!
      Well, it is a very well-known fact that the Koran is a very bad plagiary of various stories of the Old Testament and of the New Testament. I suggest that you read the Old Testament and you will see that for yourself!!
      The Koran is so hard to understand that most Muslims who read it cannot understand it at all, even with commentaries, as it is written in a very cryptic way!!

      Muhammad, the false prophet of Islam was a thief, a murderer, a rapist and a pedophile!!
      Read:
      —The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World’s Most Intolerant Religion by Robert Spencer.
      —Did Muhammad Exist?: An Inquiry into Islam’s Obscure Origins by Robert Spencer.
      A few other books by Robert Spencer:
      —The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran by Robert Spencer.
      —The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades) by Robert Spencer.

      You say: “It is not about who’s educated”
      Yes it is ALL about being educated! Especially among Muslims, it is all about how ignorant Muslims are about the history of the Middle East and especially about the history of the Jewish people and of their historical link to the Land of Israel, an area much bigger than the current area of the State of Israel. The facts that I have stated in my previous post speak for themselves!
      I remind you of just a few points from my previous post:
      1. Israel became a nation in 1312 B.C.E., almost two thousand years before the rise of Islam.
      2. Since 1272 B.C.E. the Jews have had a dominion over the land for at least 1,000 years as well as a continuous presence in the land for the past 3,300 years.
      4. King David made the city of Jerusalem his capital, Mohammed had never been to Jerusalem.

      13. IN 1922, DURING THE ILLEGAL SEPARATION OF TRANSJORDAN, JEWS WERE FORBIDDEN TO SETTLE ON 77% OF THE DISPUTED TERRITORY, WHILE ARAB SETTLEMENTS WENT UNRESTRICTED BY BRITISH.

      Karen, you have a brain of your own, isn’t it? Well, I hope so!! Instead of listening to the Muslim propaganda concerning Israel that you have been listening for years, I suggest that you use your own brain by reading more on Israel but this time not from a Muslim’s biased, dishonest and hateful perspective but from people who based their thoughts about Israel on true facts and who do not have a Muslim agenda. Why? Because by reading from Muslims about Israel, you will NEVER get the truth about Israel and about the Jewish people, you will only get more lies that the Muslim propaganda has fed you for years since you were born!

      It is not too late to use your brain to learn more about the history of the Jewish people. Start by reading the Old Testament because it is basically the history of the Jewish people. This way, you will not only learn the history of the Jewish people, you will see for yourself how much the Koran has dishonestly and badly plagiarized various stories of the Old Testament by badly “re-inventing” them in the Koran.
      Then read a few books by Robert Spencer.
      Let it be your reading of this blog the start of a discovery of the truth about Israel and about the Jewish people and about the Land of Israel, the ancestral land of the Jewish people that was under Jewish sovereignty many centuries before the rise of the evil and false Islamic “faith” led by the thief and murderer false “prophet” of Islam, Muhammad!

      Karen, you have a brain, make use of it instead of letting it be highjacked by Muslim haters and their false propaganda!!

        Wipe Out, I agree. It is about educating oneself. We are all busy people, but we have to find time to challenge our perceptions, our opinions and improve our knowledge of situations. There are so many excellent PRIMARY sources for people to use, too. These are very valuable because they record history as it occurred. There are plenty of primary sources laws, agreements, newspapers, interviews, diaries, letters, and the like) from the 1900s to the present day.

    obviously you’re quite educated that you know that Muslim women dont use the name Karen🙂, so funny!

    again, this is who you are and i’m certainly not surprised by your real personalities, this is how you turn the discussion and you try to piss me off but dont worry it is not working at all! honestly it is supporting my point from the first place and clarify more that Israel is a criminal country and will never rest until destroying every single Arab living on earth. FACE IT!

    and also it is not allowed or acceptable to heavily criticize Islam or the Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him).
    Try to respect it as I didn’t treat you the same and i didnt say anything negative about your old Testament (which is known that it has been distorted and the facts in are not completely true).

    I know the level of education that i have, and how to use my brain and with whom!, and i know what to read, certainly i will not go with your suggestions of books because of course they will be supporting your point! which is not the case!

    p.s try in the future to have a democratic way of thinking and speaking to convince people without insulting!

    I’m not going ti waste time with you anymore, obviously each one of us is convinced with his own thoughts! and as i said before, soon we will know who’s right!!!!! so prepare for that.

      We are in a democratic country, at least where I live and it is certainly not the case in nearly all Muslim countries, especially in Saudi Arabia, the cradle of this evil and false Muslim faith that you have. And I base that on the Koran and its message of hate against those who are not Muslims. Therefore, Karen, do whatever you want concerning my friendly suggestions to educate yourself more!! Like most Muslims, you want to keep the message of hate that you have learnt about the Jewish people and the State of Israel and there is nothing more that I can do for you!!

      Your statements about the State of Israel and the Jewish people in your post are ludicrous, sorry to be honest with you, they reflect that you have complete ignorance of everything related to the Jewish people and to the State of Israel. Worse, your own religion and your own religious book, the Koran, you do not seem to know them very much, like so many Muslims!!

      By the way, I know more than you think about Muslims and that is one of reasons why I speak about Muslims, especially about their ignorance of their own religious book, the evil Koran, the “book of hate” I like to call it!

      My last suggestion. For your reading of the Old Testament, choose an Old Testament that has commentaries so as to help you understand better the texts of the Old Testament. I suggest the following title:
      —The Jewish Study Bible: Featuring The Jewish Publication Society TANAKH
      by Adele Berlin (Editor), Marc Zvi Brettler (Editor), Michael Fishbane.
      It is an Old Testament translated by the most brilliant minds of the Jewish people who have thorough knowledge of the Old Testament. It is not perfect but the translation is accurate and faithful to the Hebrew text.

      Oh, by the way, the Old Testament was written in Hebrew more than 3,000 years ago and it happens that the Israelis of today speak the same language than the Hebrew language that was used to write this Old Testament, a set of texts that is more than 3,000 years old!! What does it tell you about the Jewish people and their ancestral culture that is directly connected to this Land of Israel?!! Yes, it is much older by several millennia than the culture of hate of Islam that appeared only with the rise of the evil false “prophet” Muhammad around 600 C.E.

      Karen, once again, you could choose to keep being blind about the State of Israel and the Jewish people or you could choose to use your brain on your own, it is up to you. The choice is yours fully!!

      One thing is sure, your hate of the Jewish people, of the State of Israel and of the Israelis will produce only pain in your life. For instance, even though I am not afraid to say that it is necessary for Israel to kill those who want to kill Israelis such as the Hamas terrorists, I have no hate for them, I simply know that the Hamas terrorists are evil and beyond redemption. It is my hope, Karen, that one day you will see the light, the light of truth, not the darkness of the lies that you have been fed about the Israelis, the State of Israel and the Jewish people, lies that you probably have been fed since you have been very young.
      Here is one of several accounts of this hate of the Jewish people and of the State of Israel among the Hamas people with this book:
      Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices by Mosab Hassan Yousef.

      One simple question: have you read the Old Testament? The answer is surely no; otherwise, your stupid claims about the Israelis and the State of Israel would not have been part of your postings, as you would have been better informed than you are today! It is never too late to educate yourself on the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Read Joan Peters’s book for instance, but read the Old Testament first.

      What I said about Islam and your bogus “prophet” Muhammad, it is surely not great to hear for a Muslim but it is based on my strong knowledge of Islam and of the story of Muhammad narrated using only Muslim sources.
      When I said that the bogus “prophet” Muhammad was a thief, a murderer, a rapist and a pedophile, it is not me who says that, it is the Muslim writers of the past who narrated the life of your bogus “prophet” Muhammad who said that!
      Anyone rational person with a modicum of very basic education could not believe your Muslim faith after reading the Koran. The Koran is that bad!! Sorry to break it to you!
      And once again, most Muslims have not read the Koran. Why? It is so cryptic in the way it is written that even with commentaries it is extremely hard to understand, not to mention the many possible interpretations that can be inferred from the cryptic texts of the Koran!

      Sorry to break it to you, that you have the name Karen does not mean that Karen is a Muslim name, as it is not!! In fact, Karen is a Danish short form of Katherine!! Even your own adopted name, Karen, you have no clues of its origin! Sad!

      Best of luck, Karen, I gave you all you need to become more knowledgeable on the Jewish people and on the State of Israel. It is now up to you to decide if you want to learn more or if you want to keep being completely uninformed about the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Again, the choice is yours!
