Wheee, she’s got rhythm!!

Here is my little niece dancing away in her winter concert. Check it out, she’s the little one with the light brown pony tail –and the one with a lot of rhythm. That little thing can dance!!! The Japanese love their rock ‘n roll 🙂

LOVE it!!! I always find it so fascinating to see that preschools in different countries do some of the same things. My class uses a walking rope too:) It must be interesting being Jewish and living in Japan. Does Alicia speak Hebrew on top of Japanese and English? Do you get to see her often?

Erin 🙂 What age are the little ones you teach? The bro and his wife are pretty secular. It is funny that most Japanese are not Christian but they are all about Christmas and really love all the trappings of it minus the religion part. She speaks Japanese and English and I don’t get to see her nearly enough — in fact, in a few weeks will only be my second time seeing her in person. I get to talk with her every weekend on skype tho so she (sorta) knows who I am!

    Mac thanks!

All my kids are 2, 3, and young 4 year olds….but they all have developmental delays and disabilities so cognitively it’s a very mixed group of abilities. We definitely need the walking rope or we’d never make it down the hall, lol:) Since my kids are in a special ed classroom, we get to talk about the secular part of Christmas pretty freely. It’s kinda cool to hear the kids start to identify Santa and Rudolph and to teach them about the magic of their holidays. Since I have a kiddo with a feeding tube and some of my littles have autism, we tried holiday foods like gingerbread and egg nog flavored ice cream. This week I am bringing in Hanukkah foods:D

Are you going to Japan or are they coming to see you and Lynne? That is sooooo exciting! Gotta love some skype.

    Hi Yael,

I second The Pirate’s comment. It’s been ages since you’ve written anything. I was relying on your commentary about the Paris attacks. Please let us know what’s going on with you.
